Across her career, she built pubs, bars, cafés, restaurants and festival concepts, earning 3 AA Rosettes and more than 25 hospitality and business awards. Her businesses and work have been featured by The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, BBC, Forbes, Restaurant Magazine, The Caterer and Olive Magazine.

That experience became the foundation for Stand Out Hospitality: How to Have a Business You Love That Loves You Back, a Business Book Awards 2026 finalist.

Today, Cassie works with hospitality SMEs and with the organisations that serve them.

Her work explores how founder-led hospitality businesses make decisions, what drives customer loyalty and commercial performance, why some businesses remain distinctive while others become interchangeable, and why apparently good products, support and technology can fail to land with SME founders.

Her perspective is practical, commercially grounded and rooted in decades spent carrying responsibility for the people, performance and future of hospitality businesses.
